Details

Partner: Visit Baja California Sur

Location: Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Key Themes: Outdoor Adventure | Nature + Outdoors | Culture + Heritage | Slow Travel

CHALLENGE:

Visit Baja California Sur sought a full-service marketing agency to create a comprehensive communications strategy and targeted written content for a new website highlighting Loreto’s undiscovered, unique natural, and cultural experiences.

Visit Baja Sur also wanted a full regional content strategy to be designed for Loreto, to establish the city as a unique destination in the region.

SOLUTION:

GLP partnered with Visit Baja California Sur to develop a comprehensive communications strategy and targeted written content for a new website highlighting Loreto’s undiscovered, unique natural, and cultural experiences.

We worked with an experienced travel content writer to create high-quality articles and social media campaigns and worked directly with Loreto on a strategic way to put the content in front of their target audiences.

By developing this new content, along with the strategic plan to reach Loreto’s target audience, GLP helped position the Loreto region as an undiscovered destination for nature, soft adventure, and cultural exploration.

GLP produced sales sheets for travel advisors to promote and sell the destination.

Key Goals

  1. DISTINGUISH THE LORETO REGION FROM THE OTHER MASS TRAVEL DESTINATIONS IN BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR.

  2. HIGHLIGHT THE UNIQUE NATURE AND OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES BY SEASON.

  3. SHOWCASE THE WELCOMING SPIRIT OF THE LORETO COMMUNITY.

  4. CREATE A WEBSITE THAT SERVES AS A USEFUL CONTENT HUB FOR BOTH CONSUMER AND TRADE VISITORS.

  5. DEVELOP A SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY TO REACH TARGETED AUDIENCES.
