Regenerative + Responsible Travel: “Baan Talae Nok, Thailand”

For villages in Southern Thailand like Baan Talae Nok, the mangrove forests are their supermarket, a protective barrier from the sea, and a habitat to be preserved. Homestays provide responsible travelers with the best travel experiences. A chance for cultural exchange, to see and learn about a place through the eyes of a local villager, and an opportunity to slow down and be a part of a community. Mangrove conservation leads to a sustainable community-based tourism model in southern Thailand's Baan Talae Nok village along the Andaman Coast in this winner of Travel Weekly's Gold Award for Best Destination Marketing Video.

Stewardship + Community: “The Soul of Sedona”

Facing over-tourism and negative sentiment from local residents, Visit Sedona leveraged storytelling to change its sustainability messaging and inspire its community to see the value of tourism while also educating visitors on how to be better stewards and protect the "Soul of Sedona".

New Markets + Trade Development: “Kohunlich - Guided by Nature”

How do you reach new customers and tap into the future of tourism? You need to tell a new story. The Explorean Discovery Resorts used authentic storytelling featuring local voices to connect to the soft adventure and sustainable tourism traveler.
